I can't remember how, but a couple of weeks ago I came across an interesting website... interesting if you like words, that is, and I do (I play word games whenever I can, enjoy crossword puzzles, and really like Boggle).
Anyway, like I said, I found this website that puts some usefulness behind my indulgences. http://www.freerice.com/index.php is a site where you can donate 20 grains of rice for every word you correctly define through the UN World Food Program. It is like a game with 60 levels so as you make correct answers you move up through the levels.
According to the website over 39 billion grains of rice have been donated since the beginning. If figure why not put some benefit to others while I gain knowledge of vocabulary?
