I am not scientific!

Not scientific a bit! When I was in high school and had to take physics to graduate, I barely passed. It all sounded logical while the teacher talked about it, but when I tried to repeat the information about mass, or velocity, or whatever, for a test, it suddenly made no sense at all. I liked biology and it liked me, but all the other stuff was like a foreign language.

All that to say that as I have been trying to learn (and understand) more about Web 2.0 and how I might put it to use in the Fleece Library, I have been reminded of my weakness. RSS is not "really simple" to me! And aggregation is not making sense... yet. But I am busily reading up on all these topics, with the plan to somehow conquer science and put it to use in my last few years of librarianship.

At least I have been learning. And I expect 2007 to be full of more learning. Not only about Web 2.0, RSS, and aggregation, but I suspect these topics will fill many of my hours. And who knows what the Fleece Library may be able to produce as a result? It will depend a great deal, I have a feeling, on whether I can become more "scientific" in 2007.
